The attention to detail in the rooms is quite impressive. It is cutting edge modern design with traditional materials.
Recently my room was upgraded to 2 x double glazing. Which meant there are 4 panes of glass on the window. This was done in response to the noise complaints. So I dont know if it was bad before but it was very good when I was there.
In combination with the room itself was the staff. If you take the time to talk to the staff at the hotel you may find yourself pleasantly surprised with two tickets to an art show as I was. By sharing my likes and dislikes with the hotel staff I was able to get specific advice on how best to enjoy Paris. This included everything from sushi to events.
I travel with about 40kg (90 pounds) of luggage on my own and i never found myself wanting more space. The reason is that the room was larger than the one I live in. If perhaps you come from Texas and your bathroom has an indoor pool then you may find this a humble experience. To my mind it was more than enough to be cosy and comfortable.

I asked the porter about noise and security and he was able to advise me on which parts of Paris i should not attempt to walk in alone late at night. You want to avoid tipsy French men who attend topless bars till all hours. I do the same in my own home town (avoid tipsy people that is).
As far as theft is concerned I saw that the hotel has 24x7 camera surveillance and no fewer than 2 staff on the ground floor at all times. They take customer safety very seriously and make special provisions to anyone feeling sick or tired. They were especially nice to clean my room at a time which was convenient to me as I preferred to occupy my room and sleep longer some days.
The rooms have at least two visits each day for cleaning service or towels.
